§ 38-h. Power relating to public museum.

The city shall have the authority to provide for and operate public museums and to acquire by purchase or gift, sites, landmarks, structures and all appropriate items for preservation and exhibition. The council shall have the power to appoint such boards, commissions and agencies as it deems appropriate to administer and regulate the operation of such museums.
