§ 48-b. Taxes on various other subjects and transactions.

  • In addition to the other powers conferred by law, the council is hereby empowered to raise annually by taxes and assessments such sums of money as the council shall deem necessary for the purposes of the city, in such manner, on such subjects and transactions, and from such sources as council deems expedient, in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the state and the United States.
