§ 2-129.1. Appointment of internal audit director.

An internal audit director shall be selected by the audit committee and ratified by a majority vote of the city council. The auditor shall serve at the pleasure of the city council and shall report administratively to the city manager. The director may be removed from office by a majority vote of the city council.
