§ 36-202. Meter machines.

The city collector is authorized to permit the payment in advance of the tax levied and imposed by this division by the method of placing imprints of stamps upon original packages by the use of meter machines in lieu of the method of paying such tax by the purchase and affixing of gummed stamps, and to prescribe and enforce the necessary regulations setting forth the method to be employed and the conditions to be observed in the use of such meter machines.
