§ 37-92. Registration cards.

  • Every taxicab driver registered by the chief of police or the chief's designee under the provisions of this division shall be furnished with a card signed by the chief of police or the chief's designee certifying to his registration, which card shall contain a photograph of the taxicab driver made by the police division. Such card shall be conspicuously displayed in a manner directed by the chief of police in the taxicab at all times that the same is in charge of such driver. No driver shall drive a taxicab upon the streets of the city until he shall have secured a registration card from the chief of police or the chief's designee.
