§ 37-111. Failure to pay fare.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person who has been transported in a taxicab willfully fail, refuse or neglect to pay the driver of the taxicab the fare provided for under this division at the rates prescribed therefor immediately upon termination of the transportation, unless satisfactory arrangements are otherwise made with the driver for the payment of such fare. Every person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor for each offense.
