§ 39-102. Responsibility of the director.

  • (a)

    The director, or his/her designee, shall inspect the plumbing system of every building or structure so as to determine that the plumbing system has been installed to prevent the possibility that the city's water supply will become polluted by cross-connection, backflow or back-siphonage.

    (b)

    The director, or his/her designee, shall have the right to enter any building or structure during reasonable hours for the inspection of the plumbing system for cross-connection, backflow or back-siphonage. The owner shall furnish the director, or his/her designee, with all the information he requests regarding the plumbing system for the property.
