§ 40-7. Penalty for violation.

For each and every violation of any provision of this chapter, the offender shall be punished by a fine of not less than $90.00 nor more than $1,000.00, and by confinement in jail for not more than 12 months, either or by both. The license of any person so convicted to do business in the city may be revoked in the discretion of the court.
