§ 7-52. Issuance of receipt; delivery of tag.

Upon receipt of any application for a dog license, the required tax and the certificate of vaccination for the dog to be licensed, the city collector shall issue a license receipt for the amount, on which he shall record the name and address of the owner or custodian, the date of the payment, the year for which issued, and the serial number of the tag, and deliver the license tag.
